New Study unit -Wheels
Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed the break. This week we were introducing our study unit about wheels. As we study wheels, we'll learn concepts in science, social studies, math, literacy etc. We will also be developing thinking skills as we observe, investigate, make connections, ask questions, solve problems, and draw conclusions. At home talk to child about wheels.
Humans are fascinated by wheels. Wheels give us mobility and a sense of power. Wheels are everywhere, not just on vehicles. The internal workings of many machines depend on wheels. It is safe to that, without wheels, life as we know it would come to halt!
Thank you for my birthday cake :)
Mes de la Patria,
On Tuesday, November 18th, the Elementary Spanish Department is having a special assembly in commemoration of the Independence Day of Panama.
PK students are going to recite the poem “Panama” by Ricardo Fabrega. On that day the students should come wearing long blue-jeans and a blue t-shirt.
Parents are more than welcome to come and enjoy the show at 2:00 pm at the Middle School/ High school Cafeteria. If you have any question, do not hesitate to contact us.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Dear ISP Community,
The national holiday scheduled on Friday, November 28th will be recognized on Monday, December 1st this year as per the just announced government order. Therefore, ISP will be closed on Monday, December 1st.
We understand that many members of our community may have made special plans on the basis of the earlier schedule. Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to our community, we will also remain closed on Friday, November 28th.
This is an exceptional event brought on by the late government announcement. Because it is still early enough in the academic year, and we have built in buffer dates into the school calendar, instructional time will not be lost.
We thank you for your understanding and patience, and should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or administration.
