A Wonderful Week!
On Thursday, we inducted 99 students into the World Languages Honor Society! The student-run celebration was rewarding for all involved. Congratulations to all of our inductees! Next year we are aiming for 100.

Anyone interested in becoming a Link Leader for 2019-20 school year must attend a mandatory informational meeting Tuesday, March 12, at 10:30, 11:30 or 2:30 in the College and Career Center.

HS Seniors: Apply for PTSA Awards & Scholarships!
WC PTSA is granting $500 awards to six exceptional graduates. Three awards will be given at each high school, with winners selected by the school Counseling Centers. Applications are due 3/15 at Schroeder, 3/29 at Thomas. Use the Common Application (packet available NOW in Counseling Centers) to apply for these and many other local awards.
- WC PTSA Pursue Your Passion Award $500 (PLEASE NOTE: This is a vocational award. Be sure to apply for it via Common Application even if you don't plan to attend college.)
- WC PTSA Academic Excellence Award $500
- WC PTSA Ann Carmody Award for Outstanding Community Service $500

Scholar Athletes!
At the end of each sports season, the NYSPHSAA recognizes teams and individuals that excel in the classroom. Schools, student-athletes and teams work diligently throughout the season and it is our honor to recognize them for their academic success. To receive the Scholar-Athlete team recognition certificate, the team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.00.
Our Winter teams will receive 9 NYSPHSAA Scholar team honors for the 2018-19 season!
