Stacey Walker to speak at Liberty
Mid Winter Study Night
Tuesday, January 23, Liberty will be hosting it's 4th Study Night from 4:15-5:30 in the Library. To date over 200 students have been served by teachers volunteering their time to help Liberty students.
This is an opportunity for your student to get extra help from absences, prepare for upcoming tests, get advice on upcoming projects or do test make-up. There will be a light snack available, and transportation will be available to Northwest Junior High at 5:30pm.
Please encourage your student to take advantage of this opportunity.
2018-19 Class Registration
https://www.iowacityschools.org/Page/17153
Registration is always important, but it is especially critical this year at Liberty as we will be adding 250 students which will give us more teaching staff. So, aligning our hiring with the course needs of our students is important and the registration data gives us that guidance.
Please work with your students to make sure they have signed up for what you think they should sign-up for. Thank you

Planners
Juniors and Seniors have the option to have a planner at no cost to them. They can simply go to the counseling office at their convenience to secure one.
PSTO and the Liberty Fund
An offshoot of the PSTO is the LIBERTY FUND. The Liberty Fund is in the planning process at this time. However, eventually the goal of this organization is to commit to COLLECTIVE FUNDRAISING for under-funded clubs and organizations like Chess Club, GSA or National Honor Society. We hope to champion some LIBERTY PRIDE as part of this process.
Finally, it is our hope that the Liberty Fund turns into an endowment.
