Dear Vista Springs La Fuente and Mosaic Families


I hope your week is going well and that you are all adjusting to this ‘new normal.’ I have been popping into various online sessions and it has been so good to see so many students excited to learn and connect with their teacher and friends!


Here are some updates and fun activities for you and your students:

  • As the concern with the COVID-19 virus continues and in accordance with public health mandates, Springs Charter Schools will continue to remain closed until April 30th. Our teachers will continue to offer education to our students every day but it is not required. Please note the following exception to the daily learning schedule:

    • Friday April 3rd -Friday April 10th will remain non-instructional days as was originally scheduled on the school calendar. There will be no learning activities or online sessions provided by teachers during this time.

    • Online student - teacher engagement and educational activities will resume on Monday, April 13th.


  • Monday, March 30th, 12:30 pm- Hangout Circle with Ms. Sarah-. Parents and students can join me in a virtual hangout to ask questions, share ideas or struggles and ways that I can help! We will try lunch time to see if that is easier for parents who are working. Let me know if other times work better for you and your family.


  • Fun Friday is back!! Tomorrow, Friday, 3/27, 2:30 - 3:00 -Teachers and ACEs are hosting various Fun Friday activities -- any and all students are welcome to join any of the following Fun Friday rooms online- simply click the links below:

  • Kahoot! - Mr. Mongoven https://meet.google.com/efw-rynz-wut


  • Do you have neighbors or friends who are not enrolled in our school but need some support with online learning and activities? Maybe your friends’ school is not offering any learning activities while they are closed?

    • Well, Springs Charter Schools is launching Open Class for families who are not enrolled in our school but looking for some education while their school is closed. It is free and open to the public, including daily assignments and live online sessions with teachers. Pass the word on how awesome Springs is and give your friends some much needed support at the same time!

  • Lunches and breakfast are still here everyday, Mon-Fri! 11-12pm Open to any child ages 1-18, no matter if they are enrolled in our school or not. It’s open to the whole community!

Espero que su semana esté yendo bien y que todos se estén adaptando a esta "nueva normalidad". He estado asistiendo a varias sesiones en línea y ha sido muy bueno ver a tantos estudiantes entusiasmados de aprender y conectarse con sus maestros y amigos.


Aquí hay algunas actualizaciones y actividades divertidas para usted y sus estudiantes:

  • A medida que continúe la preocupación con el virus COVID-19 y de acuerdo con los mandatos de salud pública, las escuelas chárter de Springs continuarán cerradas hasta el 30 de abril.
