The Spring Cohorts Dive into Curriculum Redesign
On March 27th and May 20th, teachers from both divisions were trained on the UbD framework and the Rubicon/Atlas platform. They came together ready to collaborate and interact with their colleagues across the district while sharing resources to support instruction. They took the time to unpack standards, prioritize their learning goals, and begin to truly understand what it means to start with the end in mind. They began to import their units into Rubicon, excited about creating a living and content-rich curriculum.
*A huge thank you to the Career Center and ALPS for hosting our spring training sessions and to Ms. Hynes for creating the beautiful resource binders!
*A shout out to Ms. Cavalier, Mr. Borchardt and Ms. Gesin for being the first teachers to redesign their curriculum, import it into Rubicon and get it BOE approved! WOOHOO!
