Cedar Grove Friday Flash
January 12, 2018
Dear Cedar Grove Families,
It's been a busy week with several special events. Last Tuesday, our school chorus joined the chorus groups from Hallie Wells and Wilson Wims for an evening of beautiful music at Clarksburg High School. We appreciate all the hard work and efforts made by the children and Ms. Jackson, our music teacher. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening!
Last night was our Science Expo and STEM Night! The children did a fantastic job with their science projects, and it was very evident that a great deal of time and care was put into their experiments and displays. We are thankful to have had our visiting scientists as an important part of the evening as they spoke with individual students about their projects and results. The STEM portion of the evening was equally exciting for our families, and it was great to see both students and adults joining in the fun activities provided. Many thanks to the planning committees, staff members, and to our families for making this an amazing evening!
Parents, please note that class and club pictures were rescheduled to Tuesday, January 16 due to the weather and school delays. As a reminder, there is no School on Monday, January 15.
Have a great weekend!
Mr. Derby and Mrs. German
