In the year 1991, a mummy was found on a mountain between Austria and Italy. It had been buried in the snow for over 5,000 years.
In Northern Europe ,2,000 bodies have been found by swamps.
In 1865 ,Guanajuato, Mexico gravediggers found a mummified body when digging up a grave. Mummies are found throughout Egypt.
Mummies can be found in many places in the world.
How many days did it take to become a mummy
It took 70 days to become a mummy.The first thing they did was take out all of the organs in the body.Next,thing they did was pack the body in salt for many weeks.Then they wrapped the body in white cloth.Once the mummy was wrapped they covered it in sap from trees.When the sap dried the mummy was hard as a rock.Finally,the mummy was put on a cart and taken to a pyramid.
Why do they wrap mummies in white cloth
The body was wrapped so,that when the sap was put on the cloth,the cloth would harden and protect the body. People believed they would go the next world faster if they become a mummy.

The people of Ancient Egypt believed in that these people were immortal and had powers.The people of Ancient Egypt believed in the Gods and Godesses because it took them to a place where they would live forever. These people also believed in them because they would help them pass from one life to another life.
