We have some extra available spots for GaETC and would like to offer the opportunity for Vanchise members to attend. If there are Vanchise members that would like to attend, have principal approval, and have secured a sub, please have them submit their information on this form.

This is not a guarantee that they will be able to attend. The spaces will be available on a first come first serve basis. They will receive a confirmation email by October 23 if we are able to provide them a registration. Please note: Their registration to the conference will be covered by FCS Instructional Technology but not the charge for the sub.

As many of you are aware, we have been working on developing new XP requirements for our non-instructional members. We wanted to ensure that these members felt supported in furthering the mission & vision of the Vanguard team, while recognizing the differences inherent to their varied roles. We sought feedback from non-instructional members to help guide the process, and at long last we are ready to share the new XP requirements with you! Thank you for waiting patiently, as we worked to develop a plan that has the flexibility that you requested and will highlight the important work you do in your varied roles.

Non-instructional XP Requirements

(all job classifications other than Teacher or METI)

Yearly Points: 100 XP

Flexible options for earning 100 XP

• Option 1: 100 Activity XP

• Option 2: Combination of Activity XP & Mentoring XP

  • Members may opt into earning mentoring XP by mentoring people on how to integrate instructional technology into their lessons.

  • This may be done through the 5-step mentoring cycle or through other mentoring activities

• Option 3: Vanguard Impact Plan + 50 Activity XP

  • 50 Activity XP

  • Vanguard Impact Plan (50 XP - Template coming soon)

    • Creation of the plan (Oct/Nov) – 10 XP

    • 1st Plan Review (Dec/Jan) – 15 XP

    • 2nd Plan Review (Feb/Mar) – 15 XP

    • Final Reflection (April) – 10 XP
