Superintendent's Message

Dear JUHSD Community,

We celebrate American Public Education Week next week, November 15th-19th, by honoring the individuals who work to ensure that every student receives a quality education.

Public schools educate 9 out of 10 students in the United States. We offer students safe and inclusive learning experiences, prepare students for the future workforce, encourage active civic participation, and support students in reaching their fullest potential.

We also honor the parents and guardians for their support and encouragement of our students as lifelong learning is not restricted to just the classroom.

For more ideas on how you can honor those working at the school in which your child attends, please visit the National Education Association's article featuring American Education Week.

Have a great weekend.
