Mission Maximize!
9/8/2015
Dear Parents,
Welcome! What a great privilege to welcome students, parents, and staff for the 2015-2016 school year! The start of the school year is an inspiring time filled with excitement and opportunity. During the summer break, our staff worked diligently to prepare for our students. At the district level, staff members partnered with students, parents, and community members to develop a Future Ready Plan for 2015-2016. This bold plan focuses our district as an organization by providing unity in: vision, mission, and priorities. In addition, our staff members attended trainings and worked collaboratively to plan quality instruction for our students.
Our district will continue to facilitate strong academic experiences for our students. This is evident in our District Vision statement: In La Vernia ISD every student will be a Creative Learner--Engaged, Educated, and Empowered. Our LVJHS theme this year will be Mission Maximize! One of our goals will be to provide a rigorous and challenging curriculum within a safe and secure learning environment. This goal aligns with Mission Maximize! as we focus on: Maximizing the Learning Environment! Maximizing Instructional Opportunities! Maximizing Our Potential!
We look forward to working together with parents and community members to create memorable and valuable learning experiences for our students. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you and your child. Our partnership makes La Vernia Junior High School a great place for kids! It is an honor to serve the students and community of La Vernia.
