Roald Dahl
A man who wrote kids books
In 1916 Roald Dahl was born in Wales. Wales borders England. When Roald Dahl was seven he got sent to Cathedral, which is a proper boy’s School. In 1939 it became clear to Dahl that W World War 2 was going to start and Roald was transform into a temporary solder. It took Roald Dahl 3 years just for him to join the Air Force.
Roald Dahl decided in 1948 tol created his first book which was called Sometime Never. The book was an utter failure, but was the first book about nuclear war which was published in the United States after World War 2. Roald Dahl was famous for writing children books and he said “If he did not have children he would not have written books for children.” Roald attended St. Peter's Preparatory School from age nine to thirteen. He wrote about the school in his book, "Boy", which was published in 1984. Roald Dahl created "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."In November 1990 Roald Dahl died in Miserden and he was 74 years old.I hope I can learn more about Roald Dahl and next time i will read one of Roald Dahl books.
