Bedtime Math Stories!
What is Bedtime Math?
Parents know to read to their kids at night, but what about math? Bedtime Math was created with a simple premise: to make math a fun part of kids’ everyday lives, as beloved as the bedtime story.
We send parents a fun, new math problem every day by email, on our website, and on our free app. Targeted for kids ages 3-9, it begins with a quick, fun set-up story, followed by three math problems at three levels of challenge. Whether it’s flamingoes, chocolate chips or roller coasters, kids can see the math in their favorite topics. Research has shown Bedtime Math improves kids’ math performance with effects that last for years.
Go to Home - Bedtime Math to download the app, access resources and learn more!
Tell Stories and Sing Songs
Your family has a rich heritage to pass on to your children. Stories, chants, rhymes, poems, sayings, and songs from your childhood are an important part of their heritage. Sharing these with your children will help them build a strong foundation in their first language, which will make it easier to learn English at school.
