GROUP BUY : FERMENTED COD LIVER OILS AND OTHER GREEN PASTURE PRODUCTS
FCLO Group buy is this weekend! Green Pasture has a 30% off sale on FCLO Cinnamon Tingle (Liquid), Skate Liver Oil (Liquid), and Vintage Tradition Oh My Aches! (2oz). I've updated the prices on our website to reflect the sale prices for those items. It's a good time to stock up on those products. Only those 3 products are on sale.
As with all Group Buys, this item will NOT be available this Wednesday's pick up. I will be placing our order on Monday morning and due to shipping it will not arrive in time for this Wednesday pick up. I expect it to be available for pick up the following Wednesday, Jan 16th. This is a prepaid pre-order and payment is expected this Wednesday.

PLEASE HELP! Volunteers Needed at pick up!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We need 2 volunteers this Wed, 1/9 at 2pm and 3pm
Please consider volunteering during market pick up. I can’t run the market without your help! Shifts are 1 hour long and go by really fast. It's a great opportunity to meet fellow members!
Thank you Lauren, Michele, Leslie, and Melanie for volunteering last Wednesday! We couldn't have the co-op without our amazing volunteers!!
If you are interested in volunteering but unsure exactly what that involves, please let Nora know and she will do a quick "volunteer orientation" with you on a day/time that you pick up.
NEW ITEMS!
Here are a few new items on the market this week!
Chorizo Sausage from Presley's Farm - This is a mexican inspired chorizo sausage that contains pork, chili powder, paprika, salt, spices, and garlic.
Some recipe inspirations:
- Stirred into scrambled eggs: Fry chorizo in a skillet, drain off excess fat, then add lightly beaten eggs and cook and stir until eggs are set. Eat as-is (with tortillas and sliced avocado) or use to fill burritos or tacos.
- Use a filling for tacos, enchiladas, empanadas, or pambazos.
- Mixed with melted cheese to make queso fundido (also called choriqueso); use as a dip or spread on tortillas, tostadas, or bread.
- As a topping for sopes, tostadas, nachos, or other similar antojitos.
- Stirred into refried beans to eat as a side dish or as a spread for molletes or tortas.
- Combined with other ground meats and used to stuff a roasted turkey or other fowl.
- Added to shredded beef to make Tinga.
- Combined with cooked beans, tomatoes, onions, and seasonings to produce frijoles charros.
- As a topping for a very Mexican pizza.
- Used sparingly as a flavorful ingredient in certain hearty cream soups such as bean soup.

News from Azuki's Kitchen
Azuki's Kitchen will be back on the market 1/11 for delivery Wednesday of January 16th. During her break Miki is working on a recipe for gluten-free bread since many of you have requested it.
She will also have two new breads: "Mochi An Braids" and "Apple Rolls". Apple Rolls are actually the same ingredients her "Apple Rings", but she will make them to be individual rolls like her "Sweet Potato Rolls".
Lastly, she will be offering a $1 discount on "Melon Pan" only in January as celebration of Japanese New Year time. So the price of "Melon Pan" will be $4 for one package of two pieces instead of $5.
What's so great about Kale??

Zelle - New Payment Option with no fees
I’m offering a new payment option – Zelle! There is no fee to you or me to use this option. You may use starting this week!
You will need a mobile phone to use this payment method.
How to use:
Find Zelle in the mobile banking app of your bank or credit union. If you already have your banking app on your phone, there’s no download necessary. If your bank or credit union doesn’t offer Zelle yet, just download the Zelle app to get started.
Once you enroll, you can send money using my email address suwaneewholelife@gmail.com or my mobile number 404-934-4644 to pay for your order. It’s super easy and fast – just enter the amount you want to send.
I prefer we do this like PayPal and send your money before pick up on Wednesday. Best to initiate payment right after you order so you don’t forget.
Starting Nov 5th, this will replace the Dwolla payment option. You may still use Dwolla until then if you would like.
For more info about Zelle click this link: https://www.zellepay.com/
