All About the Week
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....... We worked hard creating some Christmas decorations for our room. We also started our Topic of Study on 5 senses. We focused on smell and touch this week. We made candy canes that smelled like peppermint and ornaments that smelled like cinnamon. We also made an reindeer ornament that we got to hang on the big tree in the library. On Friday, we learned all about the different things we can feel ( rough, smooth, bumpy, soft, smooth, etc...) We made Christmas trees full of holiday textures. We also met Fifi Fish and learned all about the letter F. In math we learned about the number 9. Along with all of that learning we also had our big performance at the Christmas program!!
