Wildcat Family,

With August in the rearview, we are looking forward to all that September has in store! With September, comes this upcoming Labor Day Holiday. With Labor Day and a scheduled Professional Learning Day for our staff members on Tuesday, we look forward to welcoming all students back on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.


In addition, this month brings a festive week of Homecoming Celebrations which our students always take great pride in being involved (September 12-16) with more information to come in the week ahead! If your child does plan to attend the Homecoming Dance, tickets are available for sale on MPP - more information in the graphic below!


I hope you find some time this long weekend ahead to rest, relax and possibly even enjoy some College Football!

Homecoming Dance

The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 7 – 10pm in the RHHS East Gym. Tickets may be purchased on MyPaymentsPlus for $15 each beginning on Monday, August 29.

Upcoming GA Southern Tour

The counseling department is excited to provide a Georgia Southern University Statesboro Campus tour on September 29, 2022. This trip will be open to all seniors and juniors. Please complete this Google form https://forms.gle/DaKAyXFCxzYsQf1T6 and then pick up a permission form in room 515 or 516. Permission forms are due back to Mrs. Kilpatrick by September 23, 2022.

National Honor Society Applications

The National Honor Society is accepting New Member Applications through September 9th. The application and prerequisite information may be found on the RHHS website under extracurriculars. Membership is not guaranteed and potential members will be notified of their membership status by the end of September. Contact Dorothy Feaster (dfeaster@bryan.k12.ga.us) with any further questions.

RHHS has a strong team of school counselors to support our students. Students are assigned a counselor based on their last name. All school counselors at Richmond Hill High School will provide developmentally appropriate counseling services based on data-driven practices to remove barriers to students' academic achievement and promote a safe and secure environment for all students.
