Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
I want to thank all of you who have helped make this week extra special for our students. The week of Dr. Seuss’s birthday is always such a fun one and I hope many students have been inspired to read this week! Reading is such an important skill and it’s vital that we not underestimate the complexity of it. The reading that will be required of your children as they continue in school and eventually into the workplace will require so much more of them than simply recalling facts. I’m so thankful for great teachers who are passionate about building those skills in our students.
