PTA Reflections Contest

Congratulations to the following students for their Council and State awards in the 2015-16 PTA Reflections contest!

Raena Shah's entry titled "Daydream" won the following in the Literature category-

Karyssa Nelson's entry titled "Here" won the following in the Musical Composition Category-

Texas Star - March 23 Girls Take 3rd Place!

CHHS Girls Team completed District play at Champions Circle with a total score of 763, placing them in 3rd as alternate team qualifiers, behind Coppell (1st) and Carroll (2nd). Nice job to the team and our individual medalists.

CHHS Model United Nations Team

On Saturday, April 2nd, the CHHS Model United Nations team competed at the North Texas Invitational Model United Nations Conference, placing 2nd and 3rd. Congratulations to all the team members: Ali Ashai, Maahir Babwani, Matthew Gaughan, Santiago Gaughan, Jonathan Harty, Jayaker Kolli, Vikram Mahajan, Miriha Meghani, Chanhyeong Park, Alisha Samnani, Altaf Samnani, Manaal Siddique, Zubair Sukhyani, and Justin Yu

CHHS Girls Gymnastics

CHHS women’s gymnastics placed 5th at the 2016 district meet and will be advancing to regionals.

Maria Garcia placed 11th all-around.
Brenna Currie placed 8th on beam.

Bryce Sutton-Petroff placed 11th all-around and will be advancing to regionals as an individual.

Regionals are April 12-13 at Trinity High School.


CHHS placed 2nd overall in Journalism at the district meet at Haltom High School on April 2.

Colby Schmidt is advancing to regionals in editorial and headline writing, Alicia Hurtado in feature writing, and Julia Cavalcanti in editorial.

CHHS Boys Golf

Nick Vella is continuing to Regionals Golf! Down 3 strokes starting the day, he battled back and tied for medalist spot. Two playoff holes later, he secured a spot at Regionals! WTG Nick!

The CHHS Robotics Club would like to thank McAlister's Deli who generously donated the remaining funds needed to order our first set of parts! This will allow the club to begin building this summer and practicing for competitions. THANK YOU MCALISTERS!!
