Looking for something free and fun to do with the kids on tomorrow Wednesday, May 24? Join us for Let's Get HYPED! This FREE event will offer resources to help City Schools' students and families prepare for college and career planning. Celebrating the class of 2023!
Join us as we celebrate the graduating class of 2023 by posting a congratulatory message on the 2023 Graduation Celebrations Wall! Whether it's a shoutout to a specific graduate or a message to the entire class, let's come together and commemorate this momentous occasion! 2023 Graduation Ceremonies
Graduation season is quickly approaching and we cannot wait to celebrate the class of 2023! The graduation ceremony schedule is up with dates, locations and times for all high school graduations. Please check with your school for more details on cap and gown pickup, tickets, and more.
Free Family Farm Hours
Have you been to Great Kids Farm? Join us on Wednesday, May 24 from 2:30 - 5:30 p.m. to meet the animals, see what's growing and explore the woods and stream! This event is open and free for all families of City Schools students and staff members.
Peace and Remembrance Day
Please join City Schools as we honor students who have lost their lives due to violence in the past year on Thursday, May 25 at 9:30 a.m. in the courtyard in front of the district office at 200 E. North Avenue.
On Monday, May 29 schools and offices will be closed for Memorial Day.
Free STEM summer camp
Do you have a middle school student interested in STEM? Keep them learning through the summer, by enrolling them in the FREE Ingenuity Project Summer Academy. Space is limited, so register today on the Summer Learning webpage under "Middle School Programs".

An empowering responsibility: students form Student Government Associations

Free SAT prep program with Yleana
The May 31 deadline for students to apply to Yleana's FREE summer SAT prep program is fast approaching!
When: July 10 - August 11
· Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: In person. Two options for sites. Dunbar High School is confirmed. Second site TBD.
Cost: Free!
Deadline to apply: May 31 at 5 p.m.
Free summer gym membership for high school students
Now through August 31, teens between the ages of 14-19 can work out for free at Planet Fitness locations! Planet Fitness is also giving away $200,000 to high schools and students! Teens who register can help win a grant for their school and participate in a video contest for a chance to win a scholarship.
B'More Lit: B'More Summer teen only event
Join the Mayor's Office of Children and Family Success this Sunday, May 28 for a Memorial Day party! This FREE teen only outdoor event will feature FREE food, music, live entertainment, games, activities, resources and so much more.
