Suwanee Express
Week of January 14th
Wow! I had a great weekend learning beside some of our amazing Suwanee teachers at Reading Boot Camp. Thanks to the 1st grade team, 3rd grade team, Ms. Nguyen, Mrs. Harris, and Mrs. Kovacevic for attending. It was an awesome professional learning opportunity.
This week the admin team will be reaching out to teams to reschedule mid-year conferences. Remember if at anytime you would like to meet one on one with a member of the administration team to discuss your instructional practice and student progress don't hesitate to set-up a conference time. I've listed below some RBES updates and directions.
Thanks for all you do to make Suwanee shine! :)
Your Proud Principal,
Mrs. Taylor

News from Nix
- All volunteer positions have been filled. Thank you for your hard work in securing instructors.
- JA volunteers will arrive at your classroom close to 8:30 on Friday. The lessons will last until approximately 12:30 (12:15 for 4th grade). K, 1st, and 2nd will each have a 20 minute break for students to eat lunch in the cafeteria. All other lunches are 20 minutes and after JA is complete.
- The JA instructors will run your classroom. We do ask that you be available to assist with student behaviors, etc. Also, be prepared in case the lessons finish early.
2019-2020 Preference Form For Suwanee Staff
The purpose of this form is to allow teachers and staff to express their preferences for next school year. Completion of this form does not "lock" you in to a decision; instead, it just advises us of staff positions that may have to be filled for the fall. While we will do our best to match preferences, it may be necessary to revise a placement with respect to our school-wide staffing needs. If you would rather discuss this in person, please feel free to set up a time to speak with Mrs. Taylor.
Even if no change is requested, please complete by Friday, January 25th.
