Varsity Volleyball Senior Night ~ October 15th Hawaiian Theme!
Hello Fellow Mustangs, the Varsity Volleyball players would love for you to come and support them for their Senior Night, Tuesday October 15th. Mustangs are taking on our rivals Millard West and it’s a home game.The theme will be Hawaiian, please come out and support your fellow Mustangs play! Show up Rowdy Mustangs!
PSAT Testing ~ October 16th
Attention Sophomores
HOBY is a 3-day state leadership seminar filled with interactive workshops allowing high school sophomores to develop their leadership skills while experiencing college life! This year’s seminar will be held at Concordia University, May 29-31. If you are interested in applying for an opportunity to attend the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Experience just complete this essay and turn in 2 letters of recommendation to Mrs. Kraus in the Administration office. The 2nd issue of The Hoofbeat has arrived. This month The Hoofbeat staff features Millard North's a capella groups Northern Lights and Nova, takes an in-depth look at all of the opportunities for students in the Special Education program and reviews a cat cafe in Omaha. Junior Dezaray Gaver was recognized by Mr. Seth McClurkin for using her time wisely and completing all of her vocabulary

Sophomore Abbey O'Brien was recognized by Mr. Thomas Boldt for cleaning up water in the hallway that wasn't hers, and she wasn't asked to do so . . . she just did it on her own.
Freshman Thomas Begley was recognized by Ms. Emily Janda for being ready, responsible, and respectful every day!
Socktoberfest
Tomorrow is the last day of Socktoberfest! Look through your drawers and pull out the gently used and new socks you never use and bring them to your second hour class to donate! The 2nd period that collects the most socks will win donuts!
Interact Club ~ Keep Cozy Initiative
Is last year's coat too small? Did anyone give you gloves or a hat you're not using? If so -- consider donating your stuff to someone who could use it! Interact Club is sponsoring the "Keep Cozy Initiative." We will be collecting new or gently-used coats, hats, or gloves to be donated to the Lydia House. Bring Socks for Socktober, and bring coats, hats, and gloves to Keep Cozy for Interact Club from October 7-15. Tomorrow is the last day to drop off.
