Note from the Principal

Hello NES Families,

Thank you to everyone who helped volunteer at our Fun Run on Friday! What a fantastic community event. A huge thank you to our "Families for Nooksack" PTO for organizing the fun. Students had a wonderful time and ran hard. Lap cards were sent home with kids on Friday so they can go out and collect their money. Pledge sheets are due on Wednesday.

Can you give us your feedback? How you feel about our school is important to us. We would be so grateful if you took 5 minutes to take our School Effectiveness Survey. It closes on Friday. CLICK HERE take this survey

2023-2024 District Calendar is Out!

Our calendar for next year is ready! You can find it on our district website or CLICK HERE.

Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, parent/student/teacher conferences will be held twice a year (October and March). We are excited about creating goals for your child together.

  • Conferences for all schools, on the same days, across the district allows for families to have childcare through older siblings or students in middle and high school.

  • Conferences create space for the student and their team (teacher, family and others) to celebrate success, set goals together and develop a relationship of trust.

  • An additional round of intentional conferences enables parents, students and teachers to revisit plans and goals established in the fall, to check/monitor progress and to revise and align efforts for the remainder of the year.
