Family Barn Dance
Hubenak First Graders - Thursday, February 28, 2019
Cowboys and Cowgirls Grab your Partner!
Howdy Friends, in preparation of Go Texan Day and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the first graders will be working on a few barn dances. These are large group dances that need a partner. That Partner is You! Parent and child will kick up their heals together for some dancing fun led by Mrs. Boonstra and Coach Tosch. Parents, don't forget to wear your dancin' boots (no experience necessary.) This is not a performance, but a night of family fun. Students and parents are encouraged to dress in your best western wear and enjoy a fun bootin' scootin' night of fun!
Supper's Ready Texas BBQ Style!
Come hungry, 'cause we're gonna feed ya! Schultze's BBQ is catering dinner before the dance. Dinner will be served in the cafeteria from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm. For $10 a plate, you can fuel up on sausage, brisket, buttered potatoes, beans, bread, and iced tea. Dinners must be ordered in advance. Order envelopes will go home Thursday, February 7th and are due with payment no later than Thursday, February 14th.
Make Your Western Memories Last!
We will have a western themed photo booth to document the fun evening! A barn backdrop and western props will make for fun family photos you will cherish forever. Photos will cost $5 cash and benefit the Fine Arts and PE departments at Hubenak.
