Element
Definition - A element is more then one hundred substances that cannot be chemically interconverted or broken down into simpler substances and are primary constituents of matter.
Example - oxygen, iron, hydrogen, gold and helium
Mixture
Definition - a substance made of by mixing other substances
Examples - a example of mixture is homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures
Homogeneous is consist of a phase a liquid, gas or solid
Heterogeneous is you taking two samples from different parts of the mixtures the will not have an identical compositions
An example of heterogeneous is salad because of all the different things that it has in it
compounds
A compound is atom or ions of two or more different elements in definite proportions joined by chemical bond into a molecule.
Example: water is a example of a compound.
