Week of 12-10-18
Two Weeks to Go!
We have two weeks to go until the break! That sounds like not enough time to get everything done we would like to do before the break and too much time until the break starts!
Santa Shop is this week, which also adds to the excitement building up to the break. Our Morgan Volunteers have worked extra hard on the shop this year, as their regular vendor no longer provides supplies as they have in previous years. Our Morgan Volunteers team has instead, been shopping for several weeks at several dollar stores around the area, picking out items that they have seen in the shop in the past and addition new items we haven't tried before.
We also have our first music concerts this week for 3rd and 5th grades. Based on the rehearsal on Friday, our Morgan families will enjoy an evening of fun music, provided by our students. Concert nights are always exciting!
Our week comes to an end with our annual staff Holiday Gathering! This year, we are meeting at the Tap and Barrel, which has some great food and "cheer" selections! Hope to see you there to enjoy a fun night together!
Have a great week!

Staff Meeting Tuesday, December 11
Rooms 2/3
Becky Rosbolt, UCS nurse, will be presenting medical information:
Food Allergies; Epi-Pen; Blood Borne pathogens; diabetic students and more!
$200 Teacher Spending
To spend the money, you can provide an order with the items you would like and we can create a Purchase Order (PO) to send in the order. Two first grade teachers found some great items on Really Good Stuff, and a coupon code to get even more as they were on sale! Many of the items met IRP needs.
If you spend money out of your pocket, you would need to submit the receipt for reimbursement through your paycheck. This will not cover taxes paid, so please check with the main office regarding tax exempt purchases.
We have PO vendors such as: Office Depot, School Specialty, Really Good Stuff, Lakeshore Learning, Oriental Trading, and more.
Questions, let me know.
UCS Writing Rubric Score Entry
Shared Excel File
You should have received an email from me about a shared file from OneDrive. This file is the new recording system for our fall writing assessments as Data Director is no longer available.
To record your writing scores, open the shared file, find the tab with your name on it, enter scores for your students. Your Excel tab should be pre-populated with your students' names already there.
Questions or problems, please let me know.
