Welcome Back!

I hope you all had a fun-filled and active Summer! We are looking forward to a busy year at Chris Hadfield with lots of learning ahead. I am excited to share this journey with you...

Upcoming In September

September will be a busy month. We will be settling back into our routines, building community and climate, and signing up for leadership and extracurricular activities.

We will also be participating in our Terry Fox Walk/Run on Wednesday, September 28th, so look out for more information on that,

Website and Blog (

This is a place I will be communicating with students and parents. I need your help in promoting it in your class newsletters and own blogs, this way families can see what is happening in the program and discover ways to better support their children at home.

Social Media

You can follow a snap-shot of the daily learning on Twitter. Pictures, videos, quotes, and more give you a glimpse into the world of our gym -

I will also collect pictures of our learning on a private Instagram account, so please join us in celebrating our learning through images -

All students have the option to change their clothes for Physical Education, but if not, students should wear appropriate clothing and footwear that they can move actively and safely in. This could include shorts/jogging pants/leggings, t-shirt/sweatshirt/vest, socks and most importantly non-marking running shoes.

Unlimited You...

Our of our main themes in Physical Education this year will be 'Unlimited You'.

The idea that you have a say in your learning, your direction, your goals, and take responsibility for doing the best you can!
