Virtual Learning Continues

PE&T will remain virtual for the 3rd Quarter of the school year.

Students will continue to attend classes remotely on Zoom and complete assignments in Schoology.

The 3rd Quarter begins on Monday, Feb. 1st. and continues until Friday, April 9th. Our Board of Trustees will re-evaluate considering Covid 19 levels and city/state restrictions and guidelines.

1ST SEMESTER ENDS - JAN. 29TH!

The 2nd Quarter and 1st Semester of the school end on Friday, January 29th!

Since we are on block scheduling, the grades students receive on their 1st Semester report cards are their FINAL GRADES for their courses. If a student fails a course for the semester, they must attend credit recovery in order to make up the credit for the course.


Students who received Failure Warnings should be attending Open Zooms with their teachers on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12:15-1:00pm in order to make up missed work and get help to improve their grades before 1/29!

2ND SEMESTER BEGINS - FEB. 3RD

New Rosters will be mailed home to parents and emailed to students during the last week of January. Students will begin their new classes, with new teachers on Wednesday, February 3rd.

Students will automatically be enrolled in their new classes on Schoology. They can also find their new teachers' zoom links on Schoology.


NO CLASSES ON MONDAY 2/1 OR TUESDAY 2/2 DUE TO TEACHER INSERVICE IN PREPARATION FOR THE START OF THE NEW SEMESTER.

Tech Troubleshooting

If you are encountering an issue with your school issued technology, please send an email to tech@petchs.org. Explain your issue in the email and give a phone number where they can reach you. Mr. Miraski or Mr. Carberry will contact you and help to solve the problem! The school building is open Mon-Thurs from 9am - Noon if a student needs to return/exchange a device. Student MUST have an appointment set up with the Tech Department.

Class of 2021!!

Hey Seniors -

Senior Fee of $100 is due by March 19th and can be dropped off at the school between 9am - Noon, Mondays through Thursdays. Checks/ Money Orders can be made out to PE&T Charter High School. PayPal is also accepted: @petchs2002.

Robotics Club Seeking New Members

Ms. Longhitano is looking for students to join The Chestnuts - PE&T's Coding/Robotics Club! Currently, we're designing games and apps for your iPad or phone. Soon, we'll be participating virtually in the seaperch competition - http://www.phillynavalstem.com/ - we'll be designing a 3D model of an underwater ROV (remotely operated vehicle), presenting our project to naval engineers and competing against other high schools in the Greater Philadelphia area. MLK Holiday - January 18th

School will be closed in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 18th.

No Classes; No Attendance.
