October Newsletter
Already October!
I can't believe it is already October. We are having a wonderful year together so far! We have already had our first field trip to the John A. Walker Center. We watched an entertaining show called "Diggery Dino." The kids loved it!
What are we learning?
Reading: We are learning about the setting, characters, problems, and solutions in a story. We are also learning to answer who, what, where, where, and why questions.
Math: We are learning adding and subtracting up to 20 and learning to tell the difference in even and odd numbers.
Science: We have already learned about the sun and how it warms the land, sky, and water. This week we started our weather unit.
Social Studies: We are learning about what culture is and how different cultures shaped America.
