Are you curious about Genealogy, but don't know where to begin? Or have you hit brick walls with your research? Come learn how to get started and other places for research that might break down those brick walls!

CREATIVE WRITING W/ BETTY FRANKLIN: 3 – 5 pm
Thursday, October 5, 12, 26 & November 2, 9, 16.
Join us in a six-week series of classes on writing creative nonfiction composition. The group meets from 3-5 pm every Thursday through November 16th.

What are essential oils and how do I use them? These questions and more will be answered by naturalist, Nicole Wicker. Plus the first 10 participants will receive a free sample!

Learn how to navigate the Free Genealogy website, FamilySearch.com. Genealogy Coordinator, Lillian Wingate, will show you how to use the site and what new records have been added.

HOW TO GET A JOB: Workplace Etiquette: 6 PM
Tuesday, October 10
Searching for employment is easier once you learn the necessary skills. This month concentrate on Workplace Etiquette! Today’s session: Conflict Resolution will look into ways to keep your cool when things heat up at work. This is a free ongoing series, instructed by business woman, Monique Dennis.

For teens and young adults who are interested in watching and discussing different anime series. We enjoy an activity, snacks and new episodes each week! No sign up required.

FAMILY PROGRAM: Star Wars Read Day! (all ages):
1 -3 PM Saturday, October 14
This is a family event, complete with fun games and activities all around a Star Wars theme! This program is part of our book distribution series, so all kids who attend will leave with a new book to take home!

Knitting and Crocheting Club: 2 pm
Saturday, October 14 & 28
Bring your knitting needles, crochet hooks and yarn! Share projects and get some new ideas! New members are always welcome!
