Adventures in the Lola Viets Library - March

Celebrate Teen Tech Week

Teen Tech Week is now! The WHS library is encouraging students to connect their personal devices to the library e-reading/audiobook apps. Students can be sent with their devices to the library for one-on-one help, we don't require advanced notice (maybe a good task for the kids who finish an assignment early...)

Also, remember that the library has several microphones and video cameras that can be checked out to students. Encourage them to create multimedia presentations for your class projects (we can help them with the technology part of the project).

Learning Express

Learning Express is a high school approprite digital resource provided through the State Library of Kansas. Students can take practice Workkeys, ACT/SAT exams, as well as practice AP exams with multiple modes: learning, and testing modes. It provides e-book study guides for these exams, along with several other helpful resources for college & career readiness.

Students can create an account and utilize the resource from any location.
