Bulldog Business 6 Week of April 27
For the Best Students Around
A Message From Mr. Shaw
It is hard to believe that we are almost down with the month of April. This has been a very trying and unique time in our lives and we are living a historical event. Parents remember that we are all new at this distance learning/homeschooling and we do not expect anyone to be perfect. Please give yourselves, your children, and the teachers grace. We have made it through week 2 and it will get better as we all continue to adapt.
I want to remind you to try and enjoy the weather, while practicing social distancing, play some games at home, there are many online card game tutorials, and be well.
If you have a library book we will be putting out a big red bin in front of the library at 8 am every day and most days it will be out there till 2, please drop off any library books that your child may have checked out. The bin will be out there daily starting on April 27th.
Enterprise Elementary School District is still providing lunches and breakfasts at Rother and Alta Mesa as well as many bus stops throughout the district. There is no need to preorder just show up!
If you are having technical difficulties with your Chromebook or logging in contact help@ eesd.net, they are very busy but will get to you as soon as they can. Remember EESD and Mistletoe are here for you!
Be well, choose EXCELLENCE in Everything you do, and make it a great week Mistletoe.

This Week's Topic: Anger
Hi Mistletoe families! This week, I would like to address the topic of anger. Suddenly being thrown into the role of a teacher, while possibly trying to work from home or find a way to attend work, pay bills, and feed your children, we are faced with various emotions- frustration, worry, loneliness, exhaustion, etc… Many times our emotions are displayed as anger. Typically when we are angry, there are other emotions hidden beneath the surface. Anger is what we unconsciously display since we tend to cover up our vulnerable feelings. The illustration above helps us see this point. It is called the Anger Iceberg.
When you see this picture, what stands out to you? Can you relate? Taking the time to identify the primary emotion behind our anger and our kids’ anger is a crucial step in resolving and coping with our emotions. Sharing the Anger Iceberg with your family can be a tool to help everyone understand their own anger and perhaps understand one another better too.
Check out the chart below showing some ways to cope with your emotions.
