Founders Weekly
January 2nd to 4th
Happy New Year!!
Shout out!
So many great things happened this week! I want to recognize a few:
- Ms. Wardwell for all her work to help the Gingerbread Contest come together!
- Mr. Kunz for knowing exactly what to do for a child in crisis!
Morning Duty
One person for supervision on the 3rd and 4th floor with duties that include:
- Actively supervising students in the area
- Reminding students to use the locker room and get Chromebook before the start of block 1
- Supervising 8th grade Chromebook retrieval
- Occasional front desk supervision
- Occasional breakfast distribution
Please let me know if you are interested.
Town Meeting
We have the CYO back!
We will be doing a behavior refresher to start the New Year off right! Please let me know in the am if there is anything in particular you want addressed.
Activity will be a one minute mingle- Something good about break. One wish for the New Year.
PLEASE NOTE:
Teachers should be sitting amongst students. After every town hall I receive reports of issues that are easily resolved by adult proximity.
Teachers are expected to participate in school-wide teambuilders and/or be encouraging and supporting students to play.
Evaluation Observations
IDEA Block
IDEA block starts Thursday! Rosters will be out ASAP!
New Bell Schedule
Recess
I appreciate your support in rolling this out. I highly encourage you to get kids outside whenever possible. We officially have the YMCA playground for this purpose. The walk and the fresh air is good for them (and us). It looks like most of what I ordered came in before break with the exception of some Uno cards.
