Upcoming Events
- All juniors are required to take the SAT on March 3rd at SCHS. Juniors who attend AM Prosser will need to come to SCHS for first and second block to take the SAT that day. Students can prepare for the SAT by using the free Khan Academy and their PSAT test results at: https://learn.khanacademy.org/sat-kickoff-week/?utm_source=cbemail-mar2977-educators&utm_medium=cb418-email&utm_campaign=kickoff-lp&SFMC_cid=EM674002-&rid=47760729 Students will need to bring their charged Chromebook that morning to take the test. They may also bring a charger if it is needed.
- Ivy Tech School of Nursing will be here for a lunchroom visit on March 10th for any student interest in attending their nursing program after high school.
- Quarter three end Friday, March 11th. Be sure to finish strong! To maintain eligibility for the Technical Honors Diploma or Academic Honors Diploma, C- or higher in needed in all required classes with a "B" average of overall GPA at the end of senior year.
- Quarter four start Monday, March 14th.
SPRING BREAK
Spring Break will be March 21st-April 1st. Enjoy the break and be ready to finish the school year strong when we return!
Seniors

- Continue to check the Scholarship listing, new scholarships are posted often. https://schs.scsc.school/en-US/counseling Stop by the counseling office if you have any questions. Many of the scholarships deadlines are in March-April.
- Transcripts from Parchment: If you are needing a copy of your transcript you can visit http://www.parchment.com. Once you have an account set up you can request your transcripts to be sent to universities and colleges.
Grades 9-11
- Sophomores interested in apply for the NexGen Youth Leadership Program should visit https://leadershipsi.org/program/nexgen/ Applications will be open March 1, 2022 through April 8, 2022. If you have questions please contact Amy Compton.
- Counselors have completed class presentations and have begun to meet individually with students. They will continue to meet through March to plan courses for next school year.
- 21st Century Scholars Be sure you are completing your scholar track.

Student Athletes
- Students, if you are planning to play sports in college either with the NCAA or NAIA one of the steps to ensure eligibility is to register as a student athlete. Double check colleges that you're interested in to see which eligibility center they are affiliated with. There are other eligibility centers too, but these are two common places to start.
