Parking Lot Reminders

As a reminder, no students are to be dropped off in the parking lot behind the school. This lot is for staff parking for both Smith and Dwyer. The teachers on duty have seen near accidents with students getting out of cars and crossing the lot. If your student is running late, please also refrain from driving quickly into that back lot. The best drop off for late arrivals is on 14th St. or Palm Ave.

Thank you for helping to keep all our students safe.

HBCSD Coding Competition

We are pleased to announce we have 335 participants in the Code Challenge! HBCSD students have already coded 58,900 total lines of code!

It is not too late to join the contest. We love the super-cute user names - but to be recognized and receive an award - we'll need your real name, school and grade as your user name. Please update by January 30th.

Sample: John Doe Dwyer 7, Susie Doe Peterson 2

The Code Challenge is a great way to turn screen time into skills time!
