November, 2021 Volume 5
Happy November
With term 1 ending today, one quarter of our year is already complete! Time moves very quickly and there are many upcoming events that we want to bring your attention to. We hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving season with family & friends. Please take a moment to read our Raider Family News and have a wonderful November!
Academic Support
With the end of term 1 and the start of term 2, we wanted to remind everyone that Academic Support (free tutoring) takes place in the library Monday-Thursday from 2:15-3:30 p.m. If needed, late buses transport students home at 3:40 p.m. and leave from outside of the student dining center. This is a great opportunity to review for a test, get clarification, or catch up on missed information in class, or simply get your homework done!
Monday: Science with Ms. Tinkham
Tuesday: Math with Mrs. Rebello & Mrs. Eldridge
Wednesday: Social Studies with Mr. Dionne
Thursday: ELA with Mr. Fallon
Case Rally 2021
Case Rally preparations are underway in all four of our classes. On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, we will be holding Case Rally in the gymnasium for the SBRHS staff and students only. Unfortunately, we will not be inviting the public into the gym, however, we will be live streaming the event so that our communities can watch and celebrate the event with us virtually. Stay tuned for next month's newsletter for pictures as well as the winning class of the 2021 Case Rally!

SomersetBerkleyPTO@gmail.com Holiday Season--Adopt a Family
Every year our staff gets together to donate to students/families in need of extra support/gifts/food to make their holiday season a little brighter. This year, we recognize that there is a greater need than ever for some families in Somerset and Berkley. We also notice that many people are reaching out on Social Media platforms looking to help out as the holidays approach. To that end, if anyone is interested in helping us make the holidays special for members of our Somerset and Berkley communities, please fill out the
attached form. Someone from the school will get back to you with how you can help. This is a completely anonymous process to the students/families. Thank you for your consideration.
