Online Worship for 3/29/2020
Mark 7:31-37
Video #2 is my message from Mark 7:31-37 (Get your Bibles open now.)
Video #3 includes prayer requests and a prayer.
The attachments at the end of the post include song sheets for the hymns.
The final link will take you to the Illinois Great Rivers Conference page that has been set up to offer us the opportunity for online giving.
One more prayer:
But pray for Rev. Linda Vonck and her congregation, the United Church of Heyworth.
Pastor Linda has been sharing the news of her upcoming move to Prospect with the people of Heyworth this week. They, no doubt, will be experiencing emotions of sadness, excitement and uncertainty this weekend as they process this news.
I think it would be wonderful to start welcoming Pastor Linda with cards and words of welcome. I plan to reach out to Pastor Linda this week to help her prepare to become a part of our wonderful congregation. As soon as the shelter in place order is lifted, I anticipate inviting Rev. Vonck over to Dunlap so she can meet our staff and begin planning for her ministry in earnest!
Rev. Vonck's mailing address (at her church) is:
302 E. Main St.
Heyworth, IL 61745-7624
...and one more link
Our Illinois Great Rivers Conference staff has offered us another opportunity for online giving.
Members may now give through the Conference's PayPal account.
Simply use the link below (IGRC launches online giving).
Then click on the "donate now" tab.
Fill out the form, including your designation of "Prospect UMC, Dunlap" in the church line (and Illinois River District in the District line.
Enter the amount you want to donate and hit send.
Our conference office will send us a check each week for the total amount given to Prospect (less a small fee that PayPal charges for their services). You may still send checks to the church, of course, but this offers you yet another opportunity to support Prospect financially.
