Weekly Update for Parents
Week ending 9/10/21
Update from Mrs. Weber
What a wonderful first week we had! The kids are back into the swing of things and it is so nice to have them all back in the building each day.
Please join us for the first PTO meeting on Tuesday, Sept 14th at 6 pm outside at the front picnic tables!
The picture day order form is attached below-we will not accept any payments the day of pictures-it all must be paid for ahead of time online.
Student cell phones and smart watches must remain in backpacks in the off position during the school day. Please refer to the newsletters below about procedures/policy expectations for this school year as well as our back to school spirit days.
Please note that we are a completely nut free school for breakfast, lunch and snack. Students will not be allowed to eat any food with nuts that may be sent in. Thank you for your cooperation to keep everyone safe and healthy! The school menus are attached below.
Have a wonderful weekend-Mrs. Weber
Information from Nurse Judy
All medication must be brought by an adult to school-not in their backpack. It has to be accompanied by signed doctor’s order for the 2021-2022 school year stating medication name, time of administration and dosage. Parent needs to sign parent authorization form as well. Medication must be in the original container with the prescription label attached.
All food sent in must be nut free due to severe nut allergies within the school community.
Students in K&1-Please keep a change of clothes in your child's backpack, including underwear and socks, for your child in case of an accident.
If your child has a medical incident which requires the use of orthopedic equipment (i.e crutches, wheelchair, walking boot) we need a doctor’s note which includes guidelines for PE participation, including return to participation date
If your child is sick the night before or the morning of school with diarrhea, vomiting or a fever of 100 or more-please keep your child home and notify us.
Students must be symptom free for 24 hours prior to returning to school per BOE policy
If your child shows any symptoms of illness before coming to school, please keep them home instead of giving Motrin/Tylenol to mask the symptoms
Any student out for 3 days or more must have a doctor’s note or a negative PCR test result to return to school
