DANIEL'S WONDERFUL(ISH) FAMILY
Read and Learn...
In the Beginning,,,
It all started on a warm summer night in late July 1997; the 22nd to be exact. That was the day Daniel McBee was born into this world. He weighed 9lbs 8oz and was 22in tall and was possibly the most adorable thing ever seen on this luscious earth. His father and mother, Robert and Lori, took him home to a problem causing 3 year old brother, Stephen, that next cool morning and there, baby Daniel, grew into a young child, conquering the age of 6.
Introduction to Zhong Guo (China)...
Daniel's parents decided that God was calling them to move to the mysterious and communist land of China in order to spread the word of Christ. He enjoyed life there as a homeschooled first grader, being treated as the cute little white kid, but after a year in the land, Daniel's family decided to move back to the land of the free and home of their known family.
Coming to America (great movie)...
Upon arriving in America, the McBee family lived with Grandma for a long and strenuous year. Thanks to the help of this marvelous school district, both Robert and Lori got jobs and the family was able to evict themselves from Grandma's house and rent a small home. In the long run, it was not meant to be and the family shipped themselves back to the great Asian continent.
I promise this is the last time in Asia...
The McBee father landed a job at an international school in Tianjin, China, two hours from Beijing. Both Daniel and his brother Stephen went to school their as their mother worked abroad in the new city. The two years that Daniel lived in China (his 4th and 5th grade years) were purely amazing; there he met life long friends, learned to ride a bike, and learned to be himself. Unfortunately, the McBee parents did not see eye to eye and got divorced, making the family all together move back to America.
The family!
I am done with my third person story now! Now I live with both my parents; I switch off every week to keep peace between the house holds. My mother is the secretary at Sam Houston Elementary and my father is a 5th grade math teacher at Huntsville Intermediate. My grandmother and father live together and my mother lives with my older brother who will be attending college hopefully soon. Both sides of my family have lived in Huntsville for at least 75 years (dad's side-- McBee/ mom's side-- Stanford). My family is very important to me and always will be, no matter how many times they drive me absolutely insane.
Activities
I am a member of the band; I play the baritone/euphonium and have been 1st chair/section leader since my sophomore year (I was 2nd chair my freshman year).
I am an active member in Civil Air Patrol where I have many community service hours and train people in leadership skills and military conduct.
I am active within my church and my youth group and teach lessons every once and a while when asked or feel I have time.
I am in the top ten people in my class and by the end of the year, my goal is to be in the top 5 people.
Favorites!!!
My favorite memory is of me teaching myself to ride a bike. I might have gotten a few cuts and bruises, but I did it in the long run. I taught myself while I was in China the second time because I wanted to ride my bike with all my new friends.
My favorite animal would have to be a Spider Monkey. THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!
I thoroughly enjoy listening to music and playing music. I mostly listen to 70's and 80's music with some modern stuff thrown in there every now and then.
