Principal's News - How sweet the sound!
This week has been music to our ears! The sound of children laughing, playing, learning and reconnecting has been such a blessing for us all. Your homes have gone from being set up overnight as modified classrooms to now return back to your usual family environment. For some parents this sound of silence may be sweet, for others I know you are missing having the kids no longer at home.
The experience has been different for all of us but one thing remains the same, our College is so very thankful for your support of us and your children at this time. Your willingness to assist with the remote learning program all while trying to maintain your usual routines and workloads has been so appreciated, thank you.
So whether you are someone enjoying the quiet or missing the noise, may the sweet sound of 'normal' start to be heard again in your homes as it is here at school. We give thanks to God for the return to our lives as we knew them, albeit still a little different but getting there.

2020 School Camps
We have a number of school camps scheduled for Semester 2 this year. The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the ability for school excursions and camps to go ahead for at least this Semester One.
At this stage our camps remain uncertain as we monitor closely the various stages of lifting restrictions across the country.
The College is hopeful that all camps that are scheduled can go ahead but we will only confirm their go ahead if we are confident all safety and hygiene measures are in place and each provider has government approval to operate.
It is our intention to be able to confirm for families early in Term 3 the status of camps. In the unfortunate circumstance that a camp is unable to be rescheduled and as such not able to go ahead this year the College will ensure families are refunded the camps fee.
Thank you for your understanding at this time.
Coding is so much fun! Even better when you get to work with mates!

Staffing Update
Ms Caulfield-Evans will be leaving us at the end of Semester One to be closer to her family. Our uncertain world this year has caused many to reassess various aspects of their lives and whilst disappointed to farewell Ms Caulfield-Evans we can understand the difficult decision she has made. We thank June for her amazing effort and input in her time at Trinity Lutheran College and wish her every blessing for her and her family's future.
We are very excited to welcome Ms Gabriella Millen to our team of Instrumental Tutors as our Dance Teacher. Ms Gabbi brings wonderful experience and talent to our college and we cannot wait to watch her share her passion and enthusiasm for dance with our students.
Parent Teacher Interviews
Information and booking details have been sent home to families for Semester 2 Student Conferences. While students have only been back onsite for a short period of time these interviews are a wonderful opportunity for teachers to share with you how your child is tracking and to set important learning goals for Semester 2.
We promise all our parents and carers have received a gold star for their efforts supporting remote learning!
