Exploration of your major and career options is a typical part of your time at UGA, and the earlier you begin to explore, the better! Maggie and Kali are here to help you through the exploration process. From connecting you with major- and career-choice resources to discussing your career assessment results with you in depth, we aim to tailor our services to the specific needs of each student. Spending time with Maggie and Kali can help you clarify and define your professional goals so that you can make the most out of your time at UGA. There are several ways to meet:
To schedule an appointment with Maggie or Kali, please call the Career Center front desk at 706-542-3375.
To meet with Maggie or Kali without an appointment, mark your calendar to attend our weekly Satellite Hours: Thursdays from 1-3PM, Caldwell Hall first floor (around the corner from the Exploratory Center).
To meet with a career consultant without an appointment, you may visit Career Center Walk-In Hours: M-F 12-2pm, Clark Howell Hall, Room 246. Maggie & Kali typically staff Walk-Ins on Mondays.

Step 3: Make Plans to Complete the Arch Ready Professionalism Certificate Before You Graduate
The Arch Ready Professionalism Certificate program covers a wide range of professional development topics, ranging from resume writing and interviewing to choosing a major and pursuing your dream job. Aside from enhancing your professional skills, Arch Ready Certificate recipients also receive a formal printed “Arch Ready” certificate and a UGA lapel pin.
This semester's Arch Ready programs include "Resume and Cover Letter Writing," "Job and Internship Search," "Advanced Interviewing" and "How to Negotiate Your First Salary." Check out our events calendar for workshop dates, times and locations.
The Arch Ready Professionalism Certificate is a great resume builder and will teach you valuable skills to make you more competitive in the job market.
