First Friday of 2016! January 6th
Busy! Busy! Busy! I am so sorry that you didn't get a newsletter last week-- just couldn't get it together! :)
Without an understanding of Webb's Depth of Knowledge, our work will not meet and support the work in the classroom. Even if you have been part of professional development focusing on DOK, I ask that you attend and "chat" on the discussion board in order to extend the meaning in this session! We will also look at the ALA's new definition of An Effective Library Media Program to see how we measure up! See you in 2017!!! Let's make it the year of school libraries!
PS: Thank you Brindlee for being this editions background!

A Few Tech Tool recommendations from our Montgomery Librarians!

PowToon-"You can make cool animated presentations or videos."
Educreations "is an amazing online tool for the iPad that lets teachers (or students) create videos that teach a given topic. Perfect for studying or getting students to show off their knowledge."
Audacity - "I had my students use Audacity to create math formula raps to help them prepare for ACTaspire."
