- This is a presentation about you, by you. Its purpose is to celebrate your favorite person—you!!!
- You may use any of the following to create your presentation: MS PowerPoint, Prezi, MS Publisher (which will need to be printed and you will have to add color to it) or any other presentation tool with teacher approval.
- Start your presentation with a title (it should be imaginative and creative and express who you are) and your full name.
COLLAGE
- Your collage will consist of pictures and symbols that represent your hobbies, clothing choices, food choices, music, entertainment, school, friends and family.
- These pictures and symbols will be used to cover the entire slide or page.
- You will need to overlap many pictures and symbols to convey who you are as a person. You must have 8 to 15 pictures. You may only use pictures and symbols once in your collage. Do not use duplicates or similar pictures more than once.
- This slide does not contain a title since your pictures and symbols will cover the entire slide with very, very little white space or even better...no space.
Your presentation should include all of the following in the order listed:
CLERIHEW POEM
You're going to love learning how to write Clerihew poems. Why? Because Clerihew poems are funny poems you write about specific people. That means when you learn to write a Clerihew poem, you can instantly write funny poems about your parents, your teacher, your favorite movie star, your best friend, your pet or even yourself!
Clerihew poems have just a few simple rules:
Example:
Garfield the cat
On his rear he sat
Eating lasagna galore
All about the decor
Clerihew poems have just a few simple rules:
- They are four lines long.
- The first and second lines rhyme with each other, and the third and fourth lines rhyme with each other.
- The first line is your first and last name OR your first and middle name.
- A Clerihew should be funny.
Example:
Garfield the cat
On his rear he sat
Eating lasagna galore
All about the decor
