John Green

Book Summary

In The Fault in Our Stars, Hazel Grace, a teenage lung cancer patient, is forced to attend support groups where she meets Augustus Waters, a typical "dream guy". Hazel and Augustus start to become friends, and she learns he is a cancer survivor who has a prosthetic leg. As the story continues, their relationship grows and Augustus takes her to see her favorite book's author, to discuss what happened after the book ended. While she is there, she learns a shocking secret Augustus has been keeping from her, and their lives will change forever.

My Personal Review

The Fault in Our Stars is the best book I have ever read. Though the ending of the book is very sad, the story line was well put together and I couldn't put the book down. Filled with adventure, romance, humor, and tragedy, this book is the perfect mix. Of course, this book isn't for everyone. I would suggest readers who have a mature mind and enjoy reading realistic fiction should read this book.
