K-2 Lego UniversityReady, set, build! Let your imagination run wild while designing and building with a purpose. This STREAM Academy provides an engaging, playful learning experience. Students work cooperatively to design, build, and test engineering principles while having buckets of fun.
K-2 Coding Kids Learn how to make your computer work for you! When you code, you can command dinosaurs to move, help fuzzy aliens explore space, and ̈move ̈ crates with a claw crane. Coding Kids will teach you all about computer programming.
K-2 Take The Challenge Would you like to build a bed for Goldilocks? Try out a new kind of bubble wand? What about a ramp for race cars? If you like to build things and come up with new ideas, this class is for you!
K-3 Arcade Academy This class invites students to design and build fun and engaging arcade games made from cardboard, recycled materials, and imagination. Students will engage in a design process that develops creativity, and along the way, the will learn: physics, design thinking, and math.
1-3 Let’s Make Music Oh no! The band can’t play in the parade because the truck carrying their musical instruments is stuck in traffic. Students will help the band by creating a variety of musical instruments while sticking to a budget.
1-2 Kitchen Science Can everyday items be used for science discoveries? You bet! Learn how to trick your senses, check the strength of food items such as spaghetti noodles, and much, much more! Learn fun ways to explore everyday items found in your kitchen.
2-4 Kitchen Chemistry Get ready for the coolest culinary academy in the country! Where can you find a pan balance and thermometer? Why the kitchen of course! In this STREAM class, students will learn the origins of food, show you how to make healthy food choices, learn food preparation and the impact of accurate measurements on a recipe ́s outcome.
K-3 PEAP Can you help David prepare his slingshot to face Goliath? Could you build an ark to help Noah save the animals two by two? Familiar and timeless Old Testament lessons and fairy tales will be used to encourage students to problem-solve, generate design proposals, collaborate, and make connections to engineering.
3-5 Lego WeDo Do you love a challenge? Get ready to build your Lego model and connect it to a device. Build your own code by putting programming blocks together. Press “play” and see what happens! In this class, you will use step by step directions to create Lego models, and learn to put them all together into your own creations.
3-5 Yoga Learn to focus and center yourself with breathing, meditation, balance, and movement. Downward Facing Dog, Cat-Cow, and Bridge are some of the poses you’ll use as you create a strong and balanced “You”.
3-5 Book Creator Explore your inner author! If you like to write stories, this class is for you. We will explore examples of great stories, then use the writing process to write a story of our own. Using the Book Creator app, we’ll learn how to publish our own digital version of our story.
3-5 Coding Challenge Get ready to unlock some of the science behind computer programming! We will start by sending and receiving secret messages as we explore ancient codes. Then we’ll move into the present and use coding to program a dance party, learn to debug and problem shoot, and create screen art. Last, we’ll take a peek into the future when we put our new coding skills to work with Spherobots and more!
4-5 Arcade Academy This class invites students to design and build fun and engaging arcade games made from cardboard, recycled materials, and imagination. Students will engage in a design process that develops creativity, and along the way, the will learn: physics, design thinking, math, financial literacy, engineering, social entrepreneurship and the value of recycling.
4-5 Lego WeDo Do you love a challenge? Get ready to build your Lego model and connect it to a device. Build your own code by putting programming blocks together. Press “play” and see what happens! In this class, you will use step by step directions to create Lego models, and learn to put them all together into your own creations.
5-6 Invention Convention Spark your inventive spirit by being challenged to identify a need or solve a problem using the same procedure an inventor would follow. Students will learn how inventions and innovations evolved. Students will then be challenged to invent a product using everyday items.
5-8 GeoChallenge Would you like to help solve some of the problems facing our environment? Teams of students will compete in the National Geographic Challenge called "Tackling Plastics." Each team will research the problem of plastics in our environment and offer their solution by submitting a video presentation.
5-6 You’re the “Balm” Would you like to learn about what it means to launch a business? Through research, students will hit the science lab to create their own lip balm. They will then generate a logo and advertisements to sell their product. Students learn the value of innovation, hard work, and doing good in their community.
5-8 Rockin Roller Coasters What gives your stomach that strange queasy sensation when you’re going up or downhill on your favorite roller coaster? Why does it seem impossible to move your arms at certain points during a ride? Students will research the history of roller coasters, the physics that they employ, test run computer generated coasters, and ultimately build your own marble roller coaster.
6-8 Alpha Jump Are you a dreamer with an idea? Do you like to create and invent? This class will teach you how to be an entrepreneur and possibly take your idea to market. You will sharpen your business skills and present ideas to judges in a “shark-tank” typesetting.

Once the basic robot is built, you can modify and personalize your robot to take on the challenge of competing in The Vex Challenge against other teams. These matches consist of Driving Skills Matches, which will be entirely driver-controlled, and Programming Skills Matches, which will be autonomous with limited human interaction.
7-8 Drones Experience the thrilling and exciting world of drones by actually piloting one through an obstacle course while viewing everything through first-person goggles. You will learn about how drones can be used, fly the drone, and learn the criteria used in the presentation portion to the judges so you can compete against other teams.
