It is not required that you purchase the brands listed. This is simply to make the "one-click shop" available to parents that would like to use it.
There may be more school supplies needed that are specific to individual classes.

Parent Student Information Day
- Thursday, August 26
- Open House format - 7:30-5:00 pm
- All students are expected to attend with a parent/guardian
- Have school picture taken
- Pick up schedules
- Drop off any medications with nurse
- Purchase Activity Tickets for OHS sports and activities
The Parent Student Information Day is Open House format. Please come when it is convenient for your family between 7:30-5:00 pm. Please enter the Athletic end of the building. The event will be in the gyms.
There will be electronic paperwork sent out via e-mail closer to the Parent Student Information Day. This paperwork must be filled out prior to picking up your schedule on August 26. For families that do not have access, there will be computers here that will allow you to complete your paperwork upon arrival.
All students must have their pictures taken. It is not required that you purchase a picture packet.
If you are unable to attend this day, schedules will be handed out on August 30 for 6th graders and August 31 for 7th and 8th graders. You will be able to pick them up in the cafeteria at 7:55 am when the doors open.
Orientation for Grade 6
On August 30 is our Orientation for our 6th grade students. Busses will run as usual this day. Attendance WILL be taken. This day is for 6th graders only. Our Web Leaders and the OMS staff will be available to assist the students with familiarizing themselves with their schedules and the building on this day.
Mayo Clinic Health System Free Sports Physicals
Mayo Clinic Health System will again be offering free sports physicals to athletes entering grades 7-12 for the 2021-22 school year. The dates are August 3-5, 5:30-8:00 pm. A Sign-Up Genius link will be available closer to the dates for families to sign up. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and no walk-ups will be allowed. Sports physicals are required every three years in order to participate in sports. Parents can check their students’ sports physical date in Infinite Campus under health and screenings.
With limited slots and the possibility of students not having the opportunity to attend one of the designated evenings (no walk-ups allowed), it is still importnat to encourage any student that needs to update their sports-physical to set up an appointment and get in as soon as possible .

Also for the ‘21-22 school year, families need to complete the Application for Educational Benefits (free/reduced lunch application) with the Nutrition Services department in order to determine if eligible for the reduced rate for activities.
