No Man's Land

Big Bertha

Mustard Gas
Responsible for injuring 1 million soldiers and civilians and killing 100,000 people.
Doughboys
Nickname given to US soldiers when they entered the war.
German U-Boat
These small submarines were used to mainly attack convoys bringing supplies and soldiers.
Trenches
Miles of trenches were dug on both sides. The soldiers inside lived in horrible conditions and constantly had water at their feet which resulted in trench foot.
