Students Arriving Late or Leaving Early Sign In/Out

We want to remind all families that if you are dropping your student off after our school day begins or picking them up to leave early for the day, we need an adult to be coming into the school to sign them in or out. We use the information provided on the sign in/out sheet for our attendance records. Those that are not signed in/out will be marked unexcused. Thank you for your cooperation and please let us know if you have any questions.

Here Comes the Bus Update

Unfortunately, our district’s bus tracking tool, Here Comes the Bus, is no longer working district-wide. This is due to a recent change in technology integration capabilities between our system and the app’s system.


The district notified families back in December that this app was being discontinued, however at that time it was still working for some routes. At this time, the app is no longer working for any routes.


Our transportation department has a replacement tool and they are working quickly to get it up and running as soon as possible. Watch for a district communication in 2-3 weeks with more information and instructions. We know that this app has become a valuable tool for parents and students, and hope to have this resolved as quickly as possible.

The Forest Lake Area School's STEP Program has a clothing support option for families that are in need. Most of the clothing has been donated by school staff and is provided at no cost to families.
