CPUMS
Dilyn-Week of January 11
Are you a Twitterer?
A Tweeter?
A Twitter?
A Twit?
I have not become comfortable with this web service, yet. I do have a "handle", username, or whatever the correct term: @McNeillCPU. Don't check me out or follow me...I have only Tweeted twice and that was in 2009.
I did find a Tweet from Matt Townsley on Standards Based Grading. The Tweet has connections to articles on Standards.
If you are a Tweeter and would like to share your username or some good Tweeters to follow, email me, and I will share them in my weekly Smore.
Need more information? Vocabulary is always a good place to start:Twitter dictionary.
Spotlight on Closing Activity
Out-the-Door Activity
After writing down the learning outcome, ask students to take a card, circle one of the following options, and return the card to you before they leave:
Stop (I'm totally confused.)Go (I'm ready to move on.)
Proceed with caution (I could use some clarification on . . .)
If you don't want to wait for the spotlight, here is another good article. If you have tried an activity that you think should be highlighted just let me know and I will add it to the weekly Smore.
