Reynolds Wellness Day
Student Wellness is a continued focus of Reynolds School. We are pleased to be hosting our second annual Wellness Day at Reynolds on March 26th for all of our K-2 students. Throughout the day, students will visit a variety of stations to participate in wellness activities. Many of our community members have been generous to donate their time and expertise to run our stations. A special thank you to Mrs. VanRiper and Mr. Ramirez for coordinating this wonderful day at Reynolds School. We are really looking forward to it!

World Read Aloud Week- One School, One Book Recap
Throughout the week, the children enjoyed a variety of special activities. We read together as a school community for Drop Everything and Read time, mystery readers from the school and community visited each classroom, we paired for a reading activity with a class in Bogert School, and we decorated our doors in the theme of friendship.
We value reading at Reynolds School and hope that this week inspired our children and strengthened their love of literature. A special thank you to our Co-Chairs Mrs. Cucci and Ms. Policastro and the entire committee: Mrs. Levitt, Mrs. Biglin, Mrs. Mende, Ms. Titunick, Mrs. Whitmore, Mrs. Schwartz, Mrs. Lavelle, Mrs. Jarvis, Mrs. Barone, Mrs. VanRiper, and Mrs. Cook. We are so lucky to have such a special group of teachers that went above and beyond to plan an exciting and motivational week for our school community!

Healthy Hint: Poison Prevention
Be prepared for an emergency; put the Poison help number in your mobile phone, display it in your home and at work in case of emergency.
Secure medication by keeping medications out of reach; always store them in their original containers with child safety locks.
Skip the laundry pods and store all toxic products up high where children can’t see or reach them.
Never leave poisonous products (cleaning products/medication) out even for a minute.
Ingesting any more than a taste of hand sanitizer can cause alcohol poisoning.
Check for lead. If you live in a home that was built before 1978 it is recommended that you test for lead based paint.
Install carbon monoxide alarms and check the batteries at least twice a year.
