Bearcat Praises
I want to start by thanking Mr. Warren for his successful first smooth run of benchmark testing. Everything seemed to go according to plan and I appreciate his hard work in making sure there was a solid plan in place. I also want to thank him, Mrs. Witte, Mrs. Dillon, Mr. Corredor and Ms. Montes for setting up times for our students practice on the TELPAS program and for all their hard work making sure we are set to begin testing. TELPAS is every bit as important as the STAAR test and it is a HUGE deal for our students in the ESL program. They have done an incredible job already setting up a plan and preparing our students for their test. I also appreciate everyone's hard work in collecting samples and for the "not so fun" calibration training. Thanks again to everyone involved!
Thanks again to the amazing Mrs. McGee for a fun night of painting at our annual PPIS Paint Party. I always hear the best comments from parents who attend on how much fun they have. Thanks Janet for all your hard work!
Thank you all so much for putting on the best Valentine's Day parties ever! I went around to each class and all I can say is I've never seen so much candy in my life :) You guys did a great job putting this on for your kids and I truly appreciate all your hard work!
Thanks again to the amazing Ms. Nisbett for first off, planning one of the best field trips ever with the 3rd grade trip to the Ft. Worth science museum. Then she planned an amazing day of reading with the I Love Reading day...THEN she oversaw the cookie dough fundraiser and oh yea...she's continuing to plan our Vail's Garden Outdoor classroom. I'm sure I left out about 10 other plates she has spinning at the moment but she literally does it all and I'm so thankful for her!
Thanks so much to Mrs. McDonald for planning the Denton County Traveling Museum event where our 5th graders were able to see a presentation on the Civil War. I had several kids telling me how much they enjoyed hearing it and appreciate Mrs. McDonald's planning and flexibility with allowing them to come into her class.
