Examples of Teachers Using Technology with Students
Skyping with the World War II Museum
Mrs. Trail's English II class has been reading the book Night by Elie Wiesel. They then set up a Skype with someone at the World War II Museum in New Orleans. They completed an activity, asked questions, and took a virtual tour of the museum. Skype opens up new opportunities for our students such as guest speakers, virtual field trips and communicating with other classrooms outside of our area.

Blended Learning Stations
Mrs. Leather's class is no stranger to blended learning stations. Students will visit a variety of stations, some with technology and some without. Mrs. Leathers is also able to work with a small group during this time. Some things she uses in her Blended Learning stations are Quizlet, Osmo, Brainpop, MobyMax, and more.
Activities in Seesaw
Mrs. Pflueger's class has been using Seesaw to complete activities to add to the student's digital portfolio. They have been practicing vocab, reading aloud, and describing themselves with adjectives. The possibilities in Seesaw are endless and they will work for any grade level or content area.
